A ten acre park located on the east side of the city is fully developed and includes newly refurbished tennis courts, a softball diamond, basketball court, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, shelters, picnicking areas and playground equipment.
Beck Park is located on Main Street and has 4.77 acres devoted entirely to ball field purposes.
Garden Plain Community Church
The Garden Plain Community Church was built 26 years ago around its beautiful stained glass windows. The Community Church is a multi-denominational church that strives to meet the needs of the protestant community.

Garden Plain was founded in 1884, during the building of the Wichita and Western Railroad from Wichita to Kingman.
